Twila McInnis is a Senior Property Claims Examiner with Maxwell Claims Services Inc.  She joined the team at Maxwell’s in December of 2013 and specializes in complex commercial and residential property claims, as well as cargo and contractors’ equipment claims.  Her career in the insurance industry began in 1988, and she successfully achieved her Chartered Insurance Professional designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada in 2005.  The most recent positions held throughout her career include Senior Claims Examiner with RSA Group in their Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office, where she examined all lines of insurance, specializing in complex property claims.  She was eventually promoted to a Claims Consultant with RSA Group.  An opportunity then presented itself to enable Twila to expand her experience, and she took on the role of Senior Claims Analyst at Flagstone Reinsurance Company, until its Halifax Claims Department closed in 2013.  Twila is delighted to be part of Maxwell Claims’ team and is very happy in her current role.  Twila lives in Nova Scotia with her husband Rick and cat Bijou.  In her spare time, Twila enjoys golfing and outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, singing and playing guitar.
