Ian Gurnell, Toronto Office gurnell@maxwellclaims.net In his 24 years since completing his education in Health Sciences at the University of Toronto and the University of St. Andrews, (Fife Scotland) Ian has worked as a independent adjuster. Ian’s expertise includes management and control of large fleet transportation risks in the taxi, a 400 car fleet, courier and car rental business, as well as sexual abuse, wrongful dismissal, property and entertainment industry related claims. His expertise includes the administration of Tort and Accident Benefit claims. He has participated in numerous mediations at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as directed and assisted counsel at arbitration. Currently his focus is in the area of liability claims under CGL and Party Alcohol Liability policies. Ian is also a Commissioner of Oaths for taking affidavits.
